The Cyber Security Academy is the main operating structure established by the Cyber Security Platform in 2021. Currently, the Cyber Security Academy, which teaches various courses and educational programs, has earned the title of the country's first and largest cyber security academy with 57 active students, 12 graduates, 6 projects, and 8 development programs. The Academy, which has opened innovations with special educational methods to more than 100 young people since the period of its activity, has made special contributions to their development, continues to update the newest teaching methods in this field. The main target activity is to ensure that the youth of Azerbaijan become qualified personnel in the field of cyber security
Cybersecurity Academy currently operates in 3 centers. The main center is the Baku Youth Center of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. There are special opportunities for high-quality education in educational institutions operating within our centers. The Baku Youth Center has specially equipped computer rooms consisting of 3 technological spaces and a room for holding cyber security competitions, and a large cafe for meeting the needs of rest and food.
The internal activity structure and coordination of our academy consists of professional trainers and operates independently. Teaching, Training and Development programs are organized on the basis of international information security and with special materials. Our training staff consists of highly skilled and experienced professionals in this field.
The Academy treats each student as an individual, which requires special attention. The main reason for this is the existence of laws on the organization of education at the Cyber Security Academy, each of which is being implemented. The main educational activity of this set of laws is on raising the national personnel reserve of our country.
The academy offers both 6-month and 3-month extended course plans. Within these plans, our youth can register for the main and auxiliary courses offered by the academy, continue their education, or start from the introductory level in the field of cybersecurity.
E-Academy has a 6-month and 3-month electronic lesson plan. Within this plan, our young people can continue their education by enrolling in the main and auxiliary courses operating under the Academy or start from the beginner level in the field of cyber security.
Our bootcamp or cyber security training programs are organized once a year. These programs ensure that our young people have certain knowledge in a special development orientation. Our admitted young people start classes with a closed specially designed educational schedule with a study period of 1 week, 2 or 1 month.
There are currently 2 main and 3 auxiliary course programs within our academy. Of these, 2 main course programs "Ethical Hacking Fundamentals" and "Ethical Hacking Professional" and 3 auxiliary ones "Network Security", "Phython", "Information Law Digital Forensic" are being taught.
Currently, the main 2 certificate programs are "Ethical Hacking Fundamentals Certificate EHF” və “Ethical Hacking Professional Certificate EHP” is given to our academy students. Our certificates are presented to students who have completed 3 x 3 months and successfully completed the course final exam.
As you know, as an Academy, we always maintain close cooperation with institutions and organizations. Understanding the importance of internship programs in this field, we create an internship opportunity for our graduate students within the framework of a specific program within the institutions we cooperate with.
Our development programs are one of our most important activities. Today, the main benefit of the development programs for the youth of the country is the organization of the unity of the youth by improving what they will learn from the specialized experts.
Our exchange programs are currently in the development phase and are being conducted in collaboration with both foreign and local educational institutions. The aim of this program is to support the development of our youth in the field of cybersecurity in cooperation with local and foreign universities, government agencies, and to enhance skills through practice in various specialty areas.
Our academy has always supported youth development both materially and morally, and continues to do so actively. We organize Academic and Social scholarship programs within the academy. The Academic Scholarship Program awards full and partial scholarships to selected 10 candidates, with one candidate allocated for each program. The Social Scholarship Program is dedicated to the families of Martyrs, Veterans, and our specially abled youth. Regardless of the selected course of study, the Social Scholarship Program accepts two families of Martyrs and Veterans, and one fully funded specially abled student.
